Comedic interviews where The Speech Prof (Chesko) and a rotating guest talk comedy and kindness while giving purposefully bad advice to questions from his followers that they submit without context.

My thoughts:
I really like the host on Instagram and the same fun energy carries over into the podcast. The guests are varied and give interesting takes on the subjects, though sometimes they both struggle to stick to the “bad advice” theme and actually give good advice.

It’s light hearted, a good filler podcast, and an awesome introduction to some interesting people.

Which #email #client do you recommend for #MacOS?

Apple's Mail.app, for example, lacks support for threads. Required features are email threads, #PGP, a decent search, multiple mail accounts and identities. A big plus would be the ability to send #mail from addresses for which no identity has been created.
A free, open source application would be preferred. Paying a reasonable price would be ok. Subscription is a not an option, nor is #Thunderbird.

I'm a huge fan of French philosopher and psychoanalyst Cynthia Fleury, whose work is stimulating and thought-provoking. Her last book, "Ci-gît l'amer" recently got a German translation, and I cannot recommend it highly enough; a philosophical/psychological look at resentment.

Fleury published a new essay and it's going to be my #sundayreading 🙂

Halfway through the #SciFi bundle "Broken Stars", edited by Ken Liu. Already finished the earlier anthology "Invisible Planets", after I expressed an interest in #Chinese (or more generally, non-Western) SF.

Great stories, great ideas. Loved it. And a definate different "feel" which I appreciate.

Some personal highlights: Tang Fei's "Broken Stars" and Baoshu's "What has passed ..."

Can anyone recommend for me a new PC keyboard? I'm looking for a keyboard with these characteristics:

- QUIET
- Backlit keys for typing in low light
- Full set of function keys separate from the navigation (home, end, etc.) keys
- Wired USB preferred, wireless acceptable

My ideal keyboard will be as close as possible to the typing experience on a ThinkPad.

My under-desk treadmill has broken (error 4: replace motor…). Can anyone recommend a replacement brand/model?

The one that just died was a fortis, lasted three or four years of regular use (2-3 hours most days of the week). I wouldn’t mind a more compact one (it was 150cm long), and quiet. I only ever walk on it, don’t need running speeds or incline, or any fancy tech.

For logging, I use @cloudlog from the day I was licensed. I was looking for self-hosted logging that I can use anywhere. For those who care (like me), it's open source and can easily be self-hosted. If you just want to use it, it's available as a service. Works perfect on mobile. Development by @2m0sql is extremely responsive, and he adds features constantly. Fantastic software all around! #recommendation

Big big shoutout to @reclaimhosting whose support team TRULY rocks - I asked for the impossible when migrating my stuff (lots of user error and I wasn’t clear on what I wanted, I admit) and they *very* patiently fixed it all.

I don’t know where you can get that level of customer support. World class and then some 🙌🏻
