I think the #fediverse #reconnection potential, at least with how #mastodon seems to work for me right now works like this: when I follow (or maybe just interact) with someone living on one instance, all the people on the same instance in whose follow list I am in from before the nuke suddenly follow me again. I've thought about my own eventual #passing as I get older. Today for example I woke up with a feeling of #reconnection. I wonder if that is how it will feel to not be anymore. Basically I felt like there was nothing to remember and suddenly I'm waking up in this couch and oh I remember falling a sleep here last night but #nothing in between those two #events. And you can't fake nothing. If you try, you're still aware. So I think we simply are not there anymore.
