'Live Experience' boot bought 1971. Mostly BBC radio material sounding like it was, well, taped off the radio. Catfish Blues sounds primordial, like a broadcast from the birth of the blues.

Another take on .
I drew this after her show at HOUSE OF BLUES Las Vegas; I saw Dolly, Cher AND Cyndi Lauper's shows that weekend! And of course, I drew them, too! It's hard to believe now that I used to have adventures like that, but I did! That's when I used to earn actual money, and that's the kind of thing I spent it on (instead of real estate 😳 ).

Another early take on , when I was still learning Illustrator. Again, the original file seems to be lost to the ages.😔

Inspired by Dolly's song DADDY, COME AND GET ME. Sometimes, I crack myself up!

I gave Dolly a print of this when she was making an appearance at TOWER RECORDS to promote her LITTLE SPARROW album. She thought it was hilarious and was surprised that I knew her old, old songs. She slammed her hand down on the table and insisted, "I'm keepin' this! I AM KEEPIN' THIS!"

That's a good memory that I had forgotten!
