Hey folks! Does anyone here have a favorite… how do I describe this? Physical notebook sheet type of ? I’ve been doing my genealogy all online and digital, but now I’d like to start etching some of the information into a physical form, but from my own hands. (I.e. not a print on demand book.) I’m thinking I might like to do a pretty dry record first - get it all down - and then use that to create something more lovely. Any favorite notebooks or sheets or printables?

I’m not sure I can agree with CLS’s assertion that writing enabled slavery (omitted in the above exerpt), but the notion that writing can communicate across time or across a complex organisation, enabling bureaucracy, is asn interesting onee. There’'s a pre-voicing of Arendt’s “banality” observation here as well.
