Spent far too much time and money there on our last day but reaping the benefits now! (I got a #RecordStoreDay limited edition version of Christy Moore's Ride On, and a good quality original Rocky Horror Picture Show, among other gems!) #vinyl

Getting #psychedelic on this Sunday evening.
Before they reissued this for #recordstoreday this year, this was one of the most sought after&hard to come by albums of that entire #60s psych scene.
The OG came out in ‘68, & I guess only 100 of them were pressed.
For a reissue that was copied & remastered from an sealed OG copy, this sounds great.
A really fun album.

I'm not *always* a colored vinyl guy - pressing a reissue in a limited edition of purple isn't going to get me to pay an extra $10. But - and I'm behind on this one, as I think this was a Record Store Day release from last June - the Tangerine Dream *Live at Reims Cinema Opera* on orange cloudy vinyl? That's the perfect match of sound and image.

De esta banda tengo casi todos los CDs desde la época en que los publicaron, a finales de los 90 y principios de siglo, con el consiguiente desembolso obsceno del dinero ganado currando en el burger King a través de una ETT. Los singles de vinilo, de 7", los compré en un lote por eBay a un precio muy bueno, recibiendo de regalo uno de Squeeze que aún no he escuchado.

El único vinilo de 12" que tenía de ellos era su único maxi, el de #Taxloss, que me costó también un buen dinero, más de lo que vale. Tiene una remezcla que a vosotros no os gustaría, pero que a mí me pone de muy buen humor cada vez que la escucho, así que mereció la pena.

Bueno, basta de batallitas. ¿Qué hace un grupo que lleva veinte años separado y cuyos derechos han revertido completamente sobre ellos? Editar, reeditar y volver a reeditar lo mismo una y otra vez para el #RecordStoreDay en diferentes formatos y estilos para rentabilizar su catálogo.

Y vas tú y caes como mosca en la mierda.

Bueno, no me atrae todo lo que sacan con motivo de este día. Por ejemplo:
- Editaron su primer EP en 12". Yo lo tengo idéntico en 7" y en CD, no le veía sentido. ❌
- Para el #RSD de este año han juntado las caras B de sus primeros singles en un solo vinilo con una portada muy bonita, pero ya es descarado el sacacuartos. ❌
- Después aprendieron la lección y, en vez de sacar lo mismo en CD y en vinilo, repartían las caras B entre dos CDs y un 7", de manera que solo podías escuchar todas si comprabas las tres ediciones. Pues ahora lo juntan todo y te lo ponen en un mini LP. Caes. Con todo el equipo. ✅

En este último caso tenemos tres singles que quiero. Bueno, dos porque encontré este a buen precio en Vinted. Se trata del típico tema que sacas entre álbumes para mantener a la gente atenta, aunque está claro que la cara B #TheWorldsStillOpen y su rollo beatle es un tema mucho mejor. Eran un grupo distinto.

Total: el tema principal, tres caras B, dos acústicos geniales y un buen tema en vivo. Me siento menos estafado así.
