I finished a shirt today: the Collage Gather Top by Matchy Matchy Sewing Club. I'll go down a size next time but this size is perfect for lengthening into a dress. Fabric is reclaimed from an undergrad artwork, life size linocut self portraits printed on old bedsheets and sewn together into a gigantic blanket. I thought I'd share a project I'm working on. I'm making a quilted blanket for me for a change. I've got a piece of end of roll fabric in a lovely leaf pattern that looks a bit like trees.

I'm embroidering these birds to sit in the branches. It's taking a while, but they make me smile.
