You know clothes with elastane are incredibly difficult for machines to separate fibres so they are rarely recycled. Even second hand stretch jeans often are baggy and saggy because the fibre stretches out and shortens the life of the garment. I know hard pants are hard but 100% cotton jeans are the way to go for a long wearing garment that can be passed on/ recycled.

I'm not a model, the camera just turned on. I went out and bought a papier mache head so I don't have to model the hats.

I also went to three op shops and got a clothes rack for $3, a leather bag, a vintage towel and the only jeans I could find without elastane.

I have recently become obsessed with Vinted and essentially have a brand new wardrobe. I need the 🌞 to come out now so I can wear my lovely new things.

Also in a sign of maturity I am not buying the lovely Monsoon dress which is an ABSOLUTE BARGAIN because it is white and I will have spilled something down it within about 20 seconds of it arriving.

Betwixtmas boredom buster. First ever attempt at crochet. Steep learning curve but very satisfying. Made a rag rug for my van from old tshirts. Took me the whole of boxing day, but no longer than that, which is just the right length of project for my short attention span. The next one will be better!
