Typical - just as I get addicted to #Redactle, it's gone. Not sure if it's just coincidence but two of the three Redactle Unlimited puzzles I've done have been about individuals, which tends to mean you either know them or you don't. It does have slightly better functionality than the original site though.

My strategy for solving #Redactle is to get an unobscured phrase long enough for a websearch. It feels like cheating, but some of the answers are so esoteric that it also feels like the only way to solve it at all. It there another way?

Got "Tetrapod" in 11 guesses. The article had "animal" vibes and I guessed that "____-______" was "four-legged". Turned out to be "four-limbed" but "four" got me to Tetra and then "feet" got me the rest of the way to the answer.
"Greek" and "Latin" both being five letters makes it tricky sometimes to guess which ancient language a word derives from, but with animals greek is usually a safe guess, so "Tetra" it was.
Solved “Estonia” in one guess. Article had strong “country” vibes and what felt likely to be “Baltic Sea” in the first sentence. Found a few capital “IT”s in the article, which I think is a big part of their economy. No euro signs in the article ruled out anywhere in the euro zone.
Got today’s Redactle in one guess after thinking about it for an hour or so. The first sentence is “A _______ is a ______ ___ is a ______ of an ____.” which I figured must be “A _______ is a person who…” The last word had to be a four-letter noun that started with a vowel sound, so I just kept trying to think of all the words I could that matched that. After I thought of army I first thought general but thought that would have a longer article.

Does anyone have a link to a list of #redactle answers please? I didn't get yesterday's, 15th Jan, and I'm curious to know what it was. Thanks.

@rngesus_wept Thanks for introducing me to #redactle! I've only played it for a couple of days now so haven't developed any strategy or starting words yet, but it really gets your brain moving.
I had a disaster yesterday on a subject I should be familiar with, but did much better today on something I know nothing of. Maybe familiarity can lead you down possible dead ends when trying to be too clever? Good fun anyway.
I've done today's #Redactle, #Globle and #Wordle - my daily brain gym. I tried The Guardian's Wordiply but my brain just won't.
