On the left is red clover grown, gathered and dried by me. On the right is some that I bought from a place while on vacation in NC.

I grow many of the plants I use and what I don’t grow, I’m very selective about what I source. The batch on the right got tossed.

When I was a child in Arkansas a field of red clover grew behind our house. When I lived in Arkansas again in the early 2000s seas of red clover grew alongside the highways.

Does anyone else really like watching grow, maybe even more then actually eating them? (Although they are pretty tasty too.) 🤤

Lettuce is super expensive right now, so I’m growing sprouts from bags of I bought on a whim a couple of years ago, but never really used much because I’m impulsive that way. They are so delicious on tacos. I’m going to try them on Quesadillas today.

These sprouts are that I started two days ago.
