I’ve just made my first ever #jam! From the #redcurrants youngest picked last Friday. Only 200g of them which made 65ml of juice and this teeny pot of jam. But the point is the #recipe worked!

1. My dear Mum, 78, who did not answer text or phone today, was very alive when we checked on her. She just didn't have her usual knee pain, and used the pain free day to switch rooms. With YouTube loudly accompanying her.
2. The rest of the #rhubarb is finally handled. #RedCurrants next.
3. I have found some very cool radish fruit called Rat tails.
So sad that Real seeds does not send to my country, but I am not finished searching through Scandinavia yet. #Gardening

I'll probably never like red currants in any shape or form. But I do have a bush in my garden, so in a last effort to make them appealing I'm making fruit skins sweetened with honey. This is the juice I removed from the pulp to shorten the process. And I have to admit its colour is rather nice.
