I have been a big fan of the Apollo app. That was the best place to get the most out of the Reddit experience. As a company, I would have loved it if Reddit had invested in the Appollo app instead of blocking their API access for third-party clients. The native Reddit app has always sucked, and it still does. #reddit #apollo #thirdparty #redditclients #betteroptions

Developers of several popular third-party Reddit apps including Apollo and Reddit is Fun say they'll shut down June 30th due to Reddit's API changes. They say it would cost millions of dollars to continue to operate their apps. https://old.reddit.com/r/apolloapp/comments/144f6xm/apollo_will_close_down_on_june_30th_reddits/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/redditisfun/comments/144gmfq/rif_will_shut_down_on_june_30_2023_in_response_to/
