Well I decided that it was time to move on. Deleted Reddit, while I loved the communities around my interest the tendency to doom scroll was a problem. Now I won't be able to access the site through the app that made it enjoyable to be on. Mastodon has been a much nicer experience for the last few months.

The entire Free Open Source Software Stack was developed by radical socialists, communists, persons of color and LGBTQ+ people in the 70's, 80's, and 90's at radical institutions like MIT and Berkley.

The modern world would not exist without us standing on the shoulders of these giants. Nothing works without FOSS. Nothing. The entire internet, modern medicine, your TV, phone, even your car, runs on free software.

It's always been political.
