When the going gets tough the tough go . The ridge on the south side of into the scenic loop, came back on the Lower Calico Hills Trail. About 6 miles. That trail on the way back is awesome and some of it is a "make your own trail" situation.

moment: Nov, 2019, final day of an epic five-month road loop, just outside , and nary a decent photo to show for it. It was if the scenery were flipping me the bird. Speaking of which.
