1. #Redshift’s performance is slightly better than what it was in 2021. Still not worth the money.
2. #Prefect is the worst orchestrator one can choose for #DataEngineering purposes. It’s horrible operation-wise and lacks in terms of fundamental pillars of data engineering; example: “context/logical date” (in #Airflow speak) is absent, which means you’re limited to dumb “full refresh” jobs

It might be worthwhile to also take steps to reduce blue light from entering your eyes, according to this research showing blue light to suppress #melatonin: https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/blue-light-has-a-dark-side
That means put the #redShift app on your phone & pc and perhaps ensure the walls and curtains around you are not blue wherever you are in the evening before sleeping. Maybe overkill.. I think this research has some controversy.
