It's been quite a treat to get such a long-range preview of what's to come, on #Magic's 30th anniversay. What do you think of the announced sets? What has you most/least excited?

As for me, none of the announced Universes Beyond collabs really caught my eye (except for a cautious, wait-and-see interest in the Final Fantasy crossover), but I am PUMPED for 2024's premiere slate:

-#MurdersAtKarlovManor: #Ravnica isn't my favorite plane (I have no issue with it, but I kind of missed it the first time around) but I'm always down for a murder mystery.

-#OutlawsOfThunderJunction: I've dreamt of a #WeirdWest #MagicTheGathering set since the 1990s, when I first played the Deadlands: Doomtown CCG. I even came up with a combat keyword mechanic for it once (Shootout, a way to split combat damage)! Cannot wait to see what the *actual* Wizards have come up with.

-#Bloomburrow: Get outta town! I had not one, not two, but THREE #Redwall -themed RP websites on Geocities when I was a younger teen. I read every book Brian Jacques ever wrote up til his death, save like one or two. Redwall and (especially) Mossflower defined so much of my childhood reading experience. I'm all in.

#DuskmournHouseOfHorror: I hope this is a new plane. I hope the ENTIRE plane is one impossibly large Winchester House nightmare of phantom staircases, sub-sub-sub basements, pivoting walls, and blood-soaked ghosts seeking vengeance for long-forgotten crimes. Even if that doesn't end up being the case, though, I have high hopes.

After getting the last in the main series of #Redwall the other day, I decided to get the last spin off book in the series too, which arrived today. The Great Redwall Feast is now mine, and too tall for the shelf, so it has to lie awkwardly on top of the other books in the collection. 😂

And now I'm eyeballing #BurrowsandBadgers miniatures. Various animal-folk as inspired by stuff like the old #Redwall books.

Do I need a miniature of an otter dressed like a Landschneckt? Of course not.

Does that look fun to paint? Very much so.

I do like how #redwall kinda rejects some of the standard fantasy tropes

You know, I'm pretty sure the #Redwall characters aren't realistically proportioned relative to each other because, like, badgers are a LOT bigger than mice, but if they are I don't think we've been giving the Abbey beekeepers enough credit for being extremely hardcore.

Well I think it depends on what version of #redWall voter you think might be persuaded to switch to #Labour
It seems some think that the undeniable prevalence of #populist pro #brexit anti #migrant views in parts of the English North that abandoned #labour represent those it must win back at any cost - I think that most of such are not labour anyway - or were lost a long time ago - that lost 2005 voters are not the same people but stayed at home under #corbyn

Unfortunately, Labour are so focused on winning Tory voters from the so called #RedWall, that they have completely forgotten about their left wing base. You would think it would be so easy to beat the Tories right now, especially after Liz Truss, but Labour are making all the same mistakes. They never learn
