This week started my #vacation. The first adventure was to the northwest corner of California to see the coast and the #redwoods.
We left #LakeTahoe Monday morning, took a scenic drive north to #FortBragg, stopped at #GlassBeach, then enjoyed dinner at a seafood restaurant.

Out to see the big redwood trees on a new trail! This one starts off in old growth, but then climbs through thinning big trees and into an old clear cut that isn't that old. They're still a lot nicer than what you'll find on the other side of the ridge where logging continues to this day. (Less than 5% of the old trees remain.)
