What in the world?? This curved back piece seems to have an oak veneer. It really confused me to see the wood “flaking” but it seems like they put a quarter sawn oak veneer on top of… quarter saw oak? The pattern of the veneer was really cool though (like tiger stripes) but that just seems really unnecessary to me? Anyone seen this before?
