In search for advice – table top refurbishing
My wife - who bought this coffee table once upon a time - wants it fixed. Thick mahogany throughout. Is there any way to deal with this type of scratches and scuffs, apart from sanding down, oiling and polishing again? Any clever bottled remedies that can remove and polish? Any sugestions welcome!

Shelf update: additional bins acquired. Critically, the soft one is for cats.

I've had a very soft piece of fabric for several years now, genuinely don't remember when I bought it just that I like the way it feels. That's going to be cut up and put on four of the shelves. The middle shelf will be having an oak board placed on top of it so that my snakes tank can be on it as well.

It looks pretty similar to yesterday, and I had to fix the paint where the painters tape had messed it up a bit (no big deal). It'll probably take a bit to dry.

I also put two layers of paint on the bins I plan to use for my clothing. The bins should be ready tomorrow, I just need to paint the handles and add painted decorations to the sides.
