@Geri @DoubleTreble I can’t stand the cruelty of factory farms. The UK imported this from the USA. It’s pollution, environmental destruction, cruelty on a vast scale every time. Cows, beef cattle, ducks, chickens, pigs are all kept like this. Their natural social models and necessary instincts are deprived. Filled with antibiotics and cheap feed to maximise owners profits. I've been working my way through the pig fat in my freezer, rendering lard and making chicharrones. Pigs are a staple on our farm. They not only help us till the soil, control grass, and fertilize - but they also provide the main source of protein and fat for our diet.

These pigskins will be strained out then put in the air fryer, where the last lard will be drawn out and they will puff into the most delicious of snacks. 🤤
