We had a wonderful read through to launch our theatre production of Les Miserables: The Memoirs of Jean Valjean. This show features a super cast from across the area, those who have performed with us before, and brand new faces, side by side. It is an absolute delight to work with all these amazing people

We ran a great theatre acting class for adults tonight at our lovely home venue Brixham Theatre
Tonight our students were exploring use of the stage, the areas of the stage and the jargon- then how to use the different areas of the stage to help tell a story, with a great play scene excerpt
Now it’s home for food and then tomorrow- performing Beowulf in Torquay!

Preparing for the final leg of our Beowulf theatre tour, we had a blocking and cue rehearsal (no costumes)) this evening at our rehearsal room at Chestnut Community Centre, ready for the performance on Friday at Torquay Royal Lyceum Theatre.

The challenges of fundraising for theatre productions - for rehearsal space, costumes & creatives payments: Told by one place that we are not eligible for a grant as not based in England (not sure where else we have been for the past 17 years, but what do we know!) & on ebay someone said they bid twice on two of our auctions, and won, but when they won the items, said they didnt intend to win or pay.!!!
