Today they posted a nicely detailed item on the "scope of practice" for RNs (Registered Nurses). Turns out, it can be rather broad—depending on the state (U.S.) you practice in.

(4/) This crisis did not begin yesterday. Years of successive budget cuts by the #dougford #tories and previous Liberal government have reduced Ontario's healthcare capacity. #Toronto Star reports that 7,300 #registerednurse s were cut in the past ten years:

"75 per cent of those RN positions — more than 5,500 — were cut from 2013 to 2016, a time when the former provincial Liberal government, led by Kathleen Wynne, tried to rein in health spending in an effort to balance the budget."
