Are there any #DNS #registrars out there that just let you manage your CNAME records, and will process a renewal every few years?

None of these sites seem to actually be about DNS anymore. I don't want hosting, I don't want web page templates, I don't want an email service, or web forwarding, I don't want "Buy it or we'll hold your domain name hostage" insurance.

I just want to manage 5 or 6 domain names. Does ANYONE still provide this basic service? TIA for any guidance!

Not the ones that dangle a cheap price for the first year and then jack the price 1700% in year two. I also don't need the cheapest out there.

I just want a solid domain registrar that has a reasonable interface and isn't asking for the virginity of my first born.

Gandi was bought, has jacked prices. Per Fediverse threads I reviewed several registrars

Just received a notification from @Hetzner_Online that some #TLD #registrars have increased their #fees considerably, and Hetzner will pass this on to their customers.
