I was killing time in the Alberta Arts District of Portland, before heading to the airport. There are a bunch of funky little shops there, and we wandered into a bookstore that had a sort of "art and architecture" focus.
And sitting there, on the shelf, was a copy of "Arcology: The City in the Image of Man", which I'd been looking for for YEARS at that point, probably since the first time I played SimCity.

People always say, “you regret the chances you don’t take” or words to that effect, but I don’t think this is always true.
In my life, I’ve not regretted much but what I have regretted has been things I have said to people which haven’t had the desired outcome.
Honesty is always the best policy but, sometimes, it’s best just to keep your mouth shut and not say anything at all.
So, please be gentle with people who speak from the heart or confide in you. Don’t make them regret their decision.
