We are happy to announce that he has found a forever home here on Lesvos.
In the end, his wonderful new family named him with a very grand name.

Or Barrie for short.
Baran means rain in farsi as it was pouring with rain when his new mum and dad came to meet him.
Mcnab is the closest breed name that his family could find.
He has settled in really well and loves his new family and big brother.
This week we will go back to the vet for his second round of vaccinations and update his papers with his very grand name❤️

@parrotrescue #Cockatoos playing on my lap. The versatility of a #parrot’s beak is apparent here. These are both #rescues with severe psychosis when they came to us. Babalu is on the edge of a prolapse but his diet and cloacapexy are holding things together. Babalu was #rehomed eight times in the first 11 years of his life. Cecil came looking more like a porcelain cockatoo than a real one. His functional autism was close to catalepsy.

Well this wee girl really impressed me today:

1 she did the wee front bow dogs use to initiate play - for the first time since we got her 8 weeks ago
2 we left her in the car (we were regularly checking on her from 1 car away) and she was as good as gold - no crying or howling.
