There's not much I can say other than how I absolutely LOVE Stacy's expressions. She's so cute! Look at her and Fay when they were small, so cute!!

The anime quality has been dwindling, but the expressions and the fights still shine when they matter, though not as much as say, the Garuda fight.

Turns out the anime didn't replace Pete VS Stacy - it's here in this episode, they simply added Pete VS Rossi last episode. My memory is failing me lol, the fight was supposed to happen after spells are allowed anyway, when Pete VS Rossi happened before. I'm glad for more Rossi and keeping Pete VS Stacy intact, though it makes Stacy even more childish (?) because what happened with Chela's father was already episodes ago lol.

Finally watched #ReignOfTheSevenSpellblades #anime episode 8. I actually watched the first few minutes on its day but seeing the changes, I got so surprised I turned it off. I was hesitant, afraid something I love is ruined (again). Thankfully, it wasn't too bad. As a Rossi fan, I should be thankful for his increased screen time instead LMAO.

1. I like how the opening evolved with Oliver picking up and wearing his mask, now that his goal is out of the bag.
2. I'm so happy to finally see Rossi, Stacy, and Fay!! :blobhaj_tiny_hearts: Bless their early cameos (especially Rossi, his hair seems delicious).
3. I'm a bit sad by some things in the 3 classes that were cut, especially the funny alchemy class, but I understand why.

I once again speedran another volume of #ReignOfTheSevenSpellblades #LightNovel, volume 6, in 4 days. Quite fitting for the main topic in this volume - speed.

It's relatively lighter compared to volume 5, mainly wrapping up after volume 5, focusing on broomsports, and setting up for things to come. But damn does it end in a bittersweet note. My heart aches, but it was a perfect, beautiful ending. 😭😭😭

Finished #ReignOfTheSevenSpellblades #LightNovel volume 4 after pausing it for 2-3 months! Thank god I still remember what happened before so no need to re-read (still skimmed) and finished it in 2 days.

Simply put, this volume is a breather episode, without any intense high stakes of the previous volumes. That said, it's still not a slouch, either - it explores the aftermath of volume 3, the characters' growth and relationships, and more wonderful worldbuilding.

#ReignOfTheSevenSpellblades #anime episode 4 is amazing beyond my expectations. The anime has never looked bad, it's not the greatest either, but this entire fight scene is insane.
It's flashy with all the tracking shots, clashes of silver and flashes of magic. Very intense, yet also easy to follow.
JC Staff proved that they can deliver when needed.
The first major fight is a resounding success. I have faith in this adaptation now.

I don't know what I expected, but I thoroughly enjoyed episode 1 of #ReignOfTheSevenSpellblades #anime !
Even though usually, I'd find it hard to sit through something I know the events of (having read the source material/other adaptation). I suppose I just truly love the world and characters. It was a delight to see them moving and talking. The world is magical. The animation and voice acting did a great job showing off the characters!
