MoND is an alternative to #DarkMatter for the observed gravitational discrepencies; it actually does better in some areas on prediction, and has been slowly catching up on areas it was previously fairly silent (CMB, although it did actually predict one peak I think right away). A major issue was that MoND by itself isn't relativistic, as it stands for Modified Newtonian Gravity. Many attempts have been made to make it relativistic, but it is not always clear with these if they actually capture MoND behavior.
A new #relativistic #MoND #paper is out talking about the BiMOND class of theories, showing it does a good job of capturing MoND in the non-relativistic limit:

This implies that when he shoots, his shooting arm experiences #TimeDilation. It must be younger than the rest of his body.

#quantum and #relativistic calculations are pretty tedious. As someone who studied in top schools in US and Canada, I didn't see anyone savvy enough to read old papers, let alone reproduce them. I had particle physics classmates, who never took electrodynamics with a few published papers. Recently I was asked to review a paper, since author couldn't find anyone to referee the paper involving Dirac eq and whatnot. Is there any way to appeal the interpretation of Shabbos laws? I mean, I know they have to come up with new laws all the time, like that astronaut who wanted to observe it while in orbit.

I really wonder how does it work with #relativistic time dilation too. When you come back to Earth's frame of reference, do you observe the Shabbos on whatever day it is on your personal frame of reference or do you switch back to Earth's?
