Judging by their comment it would have been a big waste of money. They removed the first song that basicly sets up the whole story. They added some scenes? and the fashion show is not even half as good. Basicly they told me to stick with the memories and the cd. #remakes

I was racking my brain trying to come up with good ones. I'm an atheist but "Ben Hur" and "The Ten Commandments" were decent remakes. I think the originals were silent!

Disney really should just start developing the live-action and animated versions of their films at the same time. Why pay for TWO WHOLE SETS of writers when you can just pay for one and use it for both? Maybe the actors movements can be tracked for the CGI?
Or, maybe make the "live action" film using the same CGI dummies. Same motion, just upscale everything to photo-realistic textures. You could make two of the same movie at the same time! Simple.
