So I was talking to someone yesterday about our mutual disdain for #remakes because they're usually so terrible: "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "12 Angry Men" (made for TV??). I was racking my brain trying to come up with good ones. I'm an atheist but "Ben Hur" and "The Ten Commandments" were decent remakes. I think the originals were silent!

Any other examples? Good or bad?
