@churchofengland #RemembranceSunday ended with a most beautiful #Requiem for all the dead in all conflicts. It was my one observance this year as I am becoming increasingly #poppyphobic as I get older. But, for me, it was perfect. #Fauré's Requiem, sung liturgically and with great beauty by #SouthwellMinsterChoir, with sensitive presidency, #prayers, #silence, and #incense.

Friday and today I’ve attended #ArmisticeDay, #RemembranceSunday and #Volkstrauertag commemorations in #Vilnius.

It was an honour to attend the Armistice Day events at #Antakalnis cemetery with the Speaker and Senators of the Senate of Canada. As each year it takes me several days to process my thinking and my remembrances.
