More adventures in home renovation.

This morning our contractors were very careful about working around the main feed for power into the house, but neglected to notice the second feed line behind the first, and drove a nail into it. Instant power vacation!

Electrician is on his way, and should be fixed within the hour, but that was a bit of a surprise.

Here's a pic of the floor excavation that was needed for the new bathroom.

Why is it every year around this time, I feel the urge to make little tweaks and upgrades to my living space/girlcave/bedroom/etc.

It's not quite like the overhaul I did last year, but I'm doing a few new things, and reorganizing things, just for things to be more suitable for me.

Next year, I imagine, I'll do it all over again.

Kitchen #remodelling taking a break. My big electric screwdriver broke, the small one had been missing since I fixed the ventilation.

Wouldn't be surprised if someone finds a screwdriver in about 50 years when they open up an airduct.
