@natenovs things that have worked for me in multiple #remoteteam environments:

- have one speaker call on the next (no leaders)
- what might be interesting or useful to share to others today?
- who is stuck?

- it doesn’t have to be just work (e.g., new food Fridays; Monday Moans & Cheers - usually for sports fans on team)

- mix up the format every 3-6 months when the team is not in crisis mode; gets them to thinking differently

- What do you need from this meeting? (Good for team in a rut)

How often do you work remotely with your whole team?

I do this on a weekly basis. Everything else we clarify asynchronously or in smaller, spontaneous calls.

How do you do it?

Remote team meetings can be boring and exhausting. Instead of letting everyone go through their daily tasks, try instead:

- Check how everyone’s feeling today
- Invite the team to draw their last day or week on a digital whiteboard
- Ask for photos of pets or cuddly animals
