Finished painting the ravens for my new Viking shield for Renaissance festival! They were painted at an angle so when worn, they will be up and down.

Painted in acrylic, shield is made of poplar wood, with rawhide edge, and canvas over top. I’ll get some pictures of the back when I finish the strap. #renfest #viking #shield #artwork #cosplay #raven
