My shirt's collar gave out. That's poor, I thought before realising I bought it 20 years ago.
Anyway, the collar was superfluous. Removed, sewed up.
Good for another decade.

OK, even though it appears like my Thinkpad is built like a tank, tossing the power supply on the lid (my fault, a sticker "fixed" that) and having the child drop it a few days ago it ruined the case. But since It turned only 8 years last month and the rest is still working like a charm, I just ordered a defective Thinkpad from eBay to savage the case.

The old Ford 800 is in use today, my grandpa used this for years, and now it belongs to our generation.

When old meets even older, 2 EE type 3's repatriated from storage, cleaned and serviced. The earlier a Triang Hornby version the later a Hornby Railways one.

This sewing machine was in the attic of my friends' house (I've been helping them ). It dates from 1884 and is locked solid after years of doing nothing. It's a 12K New Family "fiddlebase". I'm going to take it home, clean it up and get it working for them.

Watch this space!
