Wife's Hyundai's tailgate switch has been slowly failing for a few days, it had been opening ok after a couple of pushes but yesterday I was stood like a lemon for about 2 minutes holding everyone up at the tip so resolved to fix it today.
Was surprisingly straightforward to get to, and though trying to spray into the assembly with IT magic repair fluid (or IPA as it's more generally known) didn't help, pulling it apart and spraying into the reed switch did the trick š
A Repair Cafe is coming to Whitehorse! It will be run by HealthAbility and be held monthly at Strathdon House, starting in August.
