Glad to join in Leiden this year!

I'll bring an analysis of academic age of users of , especially PRISMA for .

Why academic age? --> Time in the field and level of experience may be correlated to what you write.

"Concerns persist regarding tactics that some authors continue to use (knowingly or unknowingly) in order to get their trial reports into the publication pipeline. We are disappointed that these highly questionable practices continue. In some cases, we are dealing with quite blatant inaccuracies." - Jane Noyes, Journal of Advanced Nursing

Sex and gender differences are often overlooked in research design, implementation, and scientific reporting.

The EASE SAGER Guidelines Checklist helps address this with a comprehensive series of items to incorporate into methods and editorial processes.

@segundojao For more on why software versions matter, see Soergel DAW. Rampant software errors may undermine scientific results [version 2; peer review: 2 approved]. F1000Research 2015, 3:303 f1000research.com/l/3-303/v2

The same principle applies to physical materials, for which a catalogue number and batch number should be reported if available.

@segundojao If the formula is implemented differently (or incorrectly) or the different versions have different default settings, the software version can matter. This has been an issue in neuroimaging: arstechnica.com/science/2016/0

As a public health librarian I often recommend a guideline related to the topic or methods of a library user's research -- but I've never had cause to look into -effectiveness till now. Well, thanks to the Equator Network, I see there is some guidance:

In addition to the , the also passed.

The RG have serious gaps and problems (see discussion on Matrix and Loomio) -- they were intended to be filled out by the CWG. So their approval should probably be taken as approval of a kind of general orientation: "let's have conflict resolution and a reporting system for abuse" instead of a procedure.

It would be great to fix them quickly and propose a new version for approval. pad.disroot.org/p/Social.Coop_
