Some time ago somebody compiled a list of papers with models (from ecology) that can be reproduced for a post-graduate course?

@brodriguesco I just cast a quick (and very inexpert) eye over your github.com/b-rodrigues/rix repo. I see the claim that "With Nix, it is essentially possible to replace {renv} and Docker combined."

What level of dependency *can't* be addressed by Nix? Obviously not hardware. What about OS version?

@mpjgregoire Making notebooks online interactive is quite easy. All that is needed is to add a description of the libraries you want to use. I used environment.yml

has a new, small but awesome feature - open any public github repo in the cloud - get this - even if you don't have a MATLAB license.

New post on the MATLAB blog here: reproduciblematlab.github.io/b

Also available on my new and shiny project: Reproducible Temperature Visualisations with MATLAB github.com/reproducibleMATLAB/

Open this project in MATLAB online to create stunning visualisations of surface temperature data and visualise change: matlab.mathworks.com/open/gith

@androcat @arstechnica Scientists are currently very concerned about the growing trend of experimental results that are not . That’s something that social β€˜scientists’ fortunately don’t have to be concerned about. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Ach herrje...

@jr @itzzenxx which I think is bad since @fdroidorg actually aims to do in a and verifyable manner...

Also one doesn't upload an to - they just pull the repo and build it from source.

Which is why they only accept FLOSS...

Not shoure how @accrescent does it or whether they accept CCSS and / or Freeware that isn't FLOSS and provided as source, tho they seem to hint at that...

Well, at best I have seen at about 86% ...

data.guix.gnu.org/repository/1

Today, it is about 92% unknown... the two build farms have a fair amount of catching up to do after the core-updates merge.

"guix" itself is not particularly reproducible, due to non-determinism with parallelism in guile. Parallelism in the Debian package of guix is disabled so is reproducible there, at least!

Would be good to see how much of the is bit-for-bit reproducible!
