Current view. Sancho is being sure that 1) I know he's hungry, and 2) I can't sneak off and feed him without him noticing. Will soon move on to chawing at my chin for emphasis and then sitting in the meowing place and meowing incessantly.

It's > 15 mins to dinner time and this started an hour ago. And happens most days.

🐈‍⬛ progress: Mimi (former feral) will probably always be timid, but she was very submissive to the other #cats when she was first adopted. it's nice to see her holding her own more often now, & building more confident relationships with her fur-siblings.

Murder Kitty got fixed today. She's resting uncomfortably at home, because even though she's still high as a kite, she hates that cone, poor girl. She can't even fit it in her tunnel to hide.

Today is Murder Kitty's one month trapiversary! I got her off the street as a stray (no chip, no collar, not spayed, some minor injuries, but friendly) and brought her into a warm room with lots of food and soft places and she tried to murder me. A lot. But she's a sweetie now who (almost) never tries to kill me.

She celebrated by getting into the Churu jar, which I had forgotten to secure, last night, murdering 4 of them. I have to be impressed.

I'm working on the integration of Murder Kitty by feeding everyone Churu simultaneously with one tube sticking out the cracked guestroom door. That way associate seeing each other with stinky tubes.

It took Fred a couple days to realize that stinky tubes are really good and they sometimes show up at the door! So now George has to share. Meanwhile Murder Kitty gets her own tube on other side of the door with me.

Little Blackie (aka Chekhov), the rescued kitten I adopted, is growing fast.
He's no longer shy or frightend of me. Now he sleeps in my bed every night, often follows me around the house, and frequently ask me to pick him up for cuddles. 😍

I think he's ready for training. (Yes, cats can be trained - if they want to.) Maybe he'll even learn to appreciate books, like Sulu the book-loving black cat. 😍

Sulu (left) is the senior cat, chief of the clan. Adopted from a rescueshelter, he loves to read books & pose for photos.

Chekhov (centre) is the newest recruit, a kitten who was found injured and near death. He loves playing with his new big brothers.

McCoy (right), was an unwanted kitten tossed out of a car. He's an energetic youngster.

(Where we live in rural Bulgaria it's safe for cats to go outside to play.)
