This is Suzy. Around 6 weeks ago she suddenly went blind due to sudden acquired retinal degeneration syndrome. It took her a couple of days to adjust (if that), but now if you didn’t know she was blind, you probably wouldn’t guess. She plays fetch, she swims and she keeps those pesky squirrels under control (as long as they are super quiet about it). #bordercollie #rescuedog #dogsofmastodon

It's really a stream, not rivers how we know them to be, but hey it's a close to a river you get around here. Anyway for the summer months they partially dam part of it to make a pool. Two years ago we taught our dogs to swim here and each year we visit a couple of times. Arko was straight in no encouragement needed ❤️
