When working with you see suffering, neurosis and psychosis. Often I see eyes darkened by futility, having reached the point where they would rather die than continue living. The one that they loved is now a demon. They have become raving, screaming creatures doing anything to make the pain stop. They live in a nightmare world.

Most people come to us this way. As we take this to mean suffering but I am talking about people.
