New buzzword 👇
#resenteeism - include negative attitudes, procrastination, poor performance, and a host of other toxic behaviors that can have dire consequences for your business if left unchecked.
I'm at the point where I daily think about just quitting my job with nothing else lined up. Unfortunately, if I did that, I know that I would have no motivation to look for a new job—nothing seems worth it and every job seems like the same bullshit, just with different people.
If the #pandemic weren't an issue or if universities were more open to online classes, maybe I'd finally get a PhD? That's the only thing that seems interesting to me right now, but even that isn't worth risking #LongCovid.

Apparently they've now coined the word "resenteeism" to describe when someone resents their job but can't leave it - i.e., a situation that's as old as employment itself.
If management wants employees to be happy, we've told them what to do:
* Pay us what we're worth 💰
* Treat us with respect 🤝🏻
And really, that's about it. (Item 2 includes "let us work from home if possible".)
Making up new words that put the blame on us is not going to work.
