Another thing you might want to do is go to Amnesty's website and have a look at what it posts.

Nearly 50% of the posts are about Israeli oppression in the occuped areas of Palestine. Which is fine, Israel is behaving badly and this should be highlighted -- but note that there's few to no posts about Assad, Xi, Putin, Maduro, the Taliban, or the Myanmar regime's mass murdering of their citizens.
