Then I see the files and each one is composed of separate head, body, legs, hands, weapons, mix and match stuff. Two plates on the #elegoomars3pro to fit it all on. 😂

Every year I make a Christmas ornament for Mrs. Muffler. This is what I did this year...

One of these was painstakingly worked on for weeks, being carefully sanded, painted, and labored over.

The other broke three times, barely got touched by sandpaper, and only got "finished" because I was kinda curious how it would look.

Some #3dprinting #resinprinter learnings: Water-Washable resin is a bad idea. I switched from WW Resin to a normal resin and the process is night and day.

Cleaning with alcohol is simply easier, dries quickly, cleans in a few minutes, and the result is perfect.

Water was a mess, and I couldn't dispose of it properly, a problem you would not have with alcohol.

I'm now trying to recover some of the used alcohol and it seems to be possible to separate the resin from it, a big improvement!

A few hours well spent methinks. Used the Mars 2 Pro to print a new fan duct in resin, along with a full set of new fans completely overhauled the cooling on my Frankensteinian Ender 5 Pro.
