Do you have a #tinfoil hat?" and "It's only Y information, don't worry about it" and "Their #privacy #policy says they only do A, B, and C with it, it's fine".
People do not need a #reason to want their #information not to be #collected and #used by others. Especially not one you agree with.
Let's #normalize this #principle.

I broadly agree with this statement however I like to emphasise that the behaviour in response to a stimulus is distinct to the emotion that is in response to the same stimulus. We have more direct control over our behaviour and I feel that often behavioural and emotional responses are often conflated.
