Die #Retbleed genannte Schwachstelle betreffe #Prozessoren der Marktführer #Intel und #AMD. Betroffen seien weltweit alle kommerziell erhältlichen Betriebssysteme, die diese Prozessoren verwenden. Die Sicherheitslücke könne von Hackern ausgenutzt werden, um unbefugt Zugriff auf beliebige Informationen, etwa Verschlüsselungscodes oder sicherheitsrelevante Passwörter zu erhalten.
