Which company is better in terms of handheld consoles? I'm willing to buy myself a retro console and I'm not sure which overall experience is better - Retroid or Miyoo? Or maybe you know other (better) choices for a retro emulation? Help me out!

I've been considering buying a #retrohandheld of late, and have heard many good things about the #MiyooMini. Problem is, even if you can buy it (you can't) I'm worried the 2.8" screen will be too small for my aging eyes.

I then heard about the #Anbernic RG35XX. The initial reviews were mixed but it has a larger 3.5" screen and there's an aftermarket OS, #GarlicOS, which improves things greatly. It's also quite a bit cheaper too, which helps.

Then I discover that Miyoo, in an attempt to work around the display shortage that is hampering production, is due to release a new Plus model with the same screen and WiFi. I guess I'll wait and see how that pans out...

Anyone here with an RP2+ try flashing the Android 11 upgrade yet? Is there any actual performance benefit? I've heard the Unisoc tool is a bit of a pain to use and I've got mime setup nicely. Just trying to gauge if it's worth it--notably with GameCube games, but also just in general.

I tried applying light bleed fix to my #anbernic #rg351p (first 2 photos are not mine, I have the issue happening on the top and bottom of the first one, NOT like the left side)

Well.. it didn't fix it, the screen is like that and I see only on pure blacks 🤷‍♂️

I see Nvidia is trying to shoot themselves in the foot by ending gamestream so here's your reminder that you don't need it OR an Nvidia GPU to use moonlight and can instead use Sunshine as a host found here: https://github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine

Way more configurable, hardware agnostic and allows you to run multiple commands per app allowing for a lot of freedom with scripting.
