For my #birthday my #wife gave me the remainder of the £££ I needed to purchase a #RetroidPocket3+. It took me a little while to set up (mostly because I'm stupid) but I've now been playing for a few days and I love it. Being able to play #Dreamcast games on a #handhelp is a bit surreal. Currently enjoying #SpeedDevils! #videogames #retrogaming

Nearly done with LoZ: Oracle of Ages! Trying to get the last heart piece and the rest of the rings before I finish the game!

Then it's onward to Oracle of Seasons!

A couple of years ago, I attempted to build a #retrogaming console out of a Raspberry Pi. Somehow I shorted out two boards (although I never figured out what I did exactly). A year ago I got a modern laptop that theoretically can emulate just about anything (but I don't). But now I just got a #retroidpocket3 handheld gaming emulator, and I'm going to give the retro gaming thing another try. (It has HDMI out so I am hoping it will be console-like when required.) Excited!

I forgot what an awful assault the OG Silent Hill is on the senses. Between the disturbing visuals and the RIDICULOUSLY mind breaking audio, (the soundtrack of this game is the epitome of terror) progress is slow. I can only do about an hour and I have to put it down because my house starts feeling scary…it’s BROAD DAYLIGHT btw 😂
