Pues ya también me apunto a esta originalidad del #viernesdeescritorio que ha tenido @victorhck de mostrar una captura "retro", de su escritorio de hace varios años.
Aquí mi escritorio del 15/04/2011, el último año en el que estuve usando la distribución Mandriva, esta en concreto fue la última edición de Mandriva (2010.2) que usé en PC de sobremesa.
Durante buena parte de la vida de KDE 4 acostumbré a usar mucho el widget del tiempo sobre una de las esquinas del escritorio, que es el detalle más reseñable, más allá de la ventana de Firefox mostrando el título de una web dedicada al mundillo que ya no existe... o tal vez se fusionó con otro sitio web similar... no estoy seguro, pero quede como recuerdo.

@vascocosta yes and it was. I remember trying Redhat back then, but prefering Mandrake because of its configuration tools .Had it on my personal PC for the longest time, until RPM package management hickups made me settle for debian based distros instead.
I'm trying out OpenMadriva now, and the startup experience certainly is a throwback to how welcoming Mandrake was back then too. #RetroLinux #IsThatEvenAThing?
