Ok so, may have bought some new toys. Was looking for a better way to record my composite/component consoles, will be interesting getting the EVGA XR1 Pro set up with the #RetroTINK

I bought a composite AV cable to use with retro game systems and the #RetroTINK upscaler, the colors seem out of order (red, yellow, white). Of course my dumb ass took a couple moments to realize that as long as I'm hooking them up to the same RCA I/O on both ends it really doesn't matter what color the cables are. In my defense, I didn't sleep very well.

So here is the list of people I'd really love to see migrate over from birdsite in no particular order:

I used to think that emulating more modern consoles always added some element of input lag to the experience, but having spent a few hours playing the same games on real hardware and Mupen64Plus, I have to admit that if this is still the case it is virtually imperceptible for me.

I would even go as far as saying that some games actually run way better through emulation.

More movement. Again, notice the small artifact in the left side and lower left corner. I've seen the same white edge thing on a small LCD TV connected to RF out, come to think of it, way out in the overscan area... #RetroTINK

Some movement. The phone camera recording doesn't really do it justice, it actually looks very smooth. #RetroTINK

Without and with smoothing enabled. Not ideal for text, but on some graphics it works quite nicely. I prefer the unsmoothed version myself, but YMMV. Small artifact in left side of screen - may be tweakable on the monitor itself. #RetroTINK
