Platinum Games is teasing people with regards to Metal Gear Rising: #Revengeance

I played Revengeance for the first time ever in November. The controls are clunky, the plot is so stupid I felt my brain dying a bit just by paying attention to it, the camera is a total mess...

And it is still one of the funniest, most over-the-top, and enjoyable games I've ever played. Not a single day has gone by that I haven't thought about the game since I completed it.

Year-end thoughts on games I played:
- It’s the cat game, it’s full of delights, it’s “Stray”
- “#Deltarune: Chapter 2” had a bunch of fun moments, moreso than the first chapter
- “Metal Gear Rising: #Revengeance” is so uniquely edgy and ridiculous, I love it
- It’s a year of funny games, because “Say No! More” ALSO made me laugh a ton
- “#Fantasian” is some good JRPGness with some clear limitations
- Relatedly: replayed #FFIX this year with the wife, good times
- Special mention: Wordle, Sudoku

I've just finished Metal Gear Rising: #Revengeance. This game has been way funnier than it had any right to be.

The script if terrible, the camera is a mess, the gameplay is all over the place...

And still, I couldn't stop playing 😂
