It is not #strengthOfFeeling that matters politically - it is numbers; for every militant #proEu voice there is an equally adamant #littleEnglander. What matters is what the rest of the electorate think, not the committed.

I would also add that fixing the chaos #johnson caused will take way longer and much more pain than he took in smashing our place in Europe in the first place. At present I do not believe an explicit call to #reverseBrexit is an electoral winner

Or maybe his political judgement has been deployed? I am not sure what people posting similar messages expect... the #libDems were pretty much dismissed in 2019 for promising to reverse Brexit, and whilst like you I regard #brexit as an historic error and an act of self-harm, I do not think #labour benefit electorally if they can be painted as the #reverseBrexit party by the #kipperTories

It would not help win the #GeneralElection - in fact #Labour would shed votes

It would not #reverseBrexit even were #Labour to gain a majority despite such a faux pas - since it iwll be a long time before the #EU will contemplate any approach from the #UK to #rejoin or even accept #SM + #FoM - I reckon more than a parliament

Meantime the row over distinterring #Brexit would prevent sensible harmonisation
